Tammy Shapiro, President originally from Niagara Falls, New York,  where she attended Niagara University and obtained her Bachelor's degree in English and theater with a minor in communications. Upon graduation, Tammy relocated to Los Angles to pursue her love of acting and the arts. In 1992 she relocated back to the East coast and settled in Virginia where she has spent the past 18 years starting her family and growing her business. She is a single mom to daughter Dori, 16. who is following in her mom's footsteps with her love for the Arts and dancing. Tammy began her entrepreneurial days as a Caterer and soon found many clients asking for gift baskets.  Never wanting to disappoint her clients, Tammy began offering gift baskets ,and before she knew it, she had two successful businesses on her hands. With the demanding hours that the catering business required, Tammy decided to sell the catering portion of her business and just pursue the gift baskets full time.  Tammy was named Designer of the year in 2000 for a National Gift Basket Magazine and has been traveling the United States as a guest speaker at various Trade shows and Conventions since 2000, where she loves to share her knowledge in product education, gift design, sales, marketing, business development and much more...She has served as the Director of Programs for the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce for ten year, was President in 2003 and now serves on the Executive Advisory Committee. Tammy has been recognized with several local awards for her products and customer service. Over the years Tammy has made so many wonderful friends by traveling and speaking at industry events. Tammy considers herself very blessed and fortunate to begin a new business venture "CelebrateXpo! Convention & Trade-show", with dear friend and colleague Julie Taylor who she admires a great deal.  They recognize that everyone has struggled over the past few years with the economy, but is certain that “CelebrateXpo!” will help rejuvenate our industry and send it to a  new level.
